You can get to the ski resort of Bansko by bus, train, rental car or ordering an individual car transfer.
Buses depart from two bus stations, and the train is from the railway station, but a transfer in Septemvri is still required.

Trains to Bansko leave daily from the central railway station in Sofia. First you need to take a regular train to the city of Septemvri, and then transfer to the narrow-gauge retro train to Bansko. It takes about 2 hours to Septemvri, and about 5 hours to Bansko.

At Sofia Airport you can rent a car to go to Bansko, and at the end of your vacation return it before departure at the airport.

If you choose comfort and speed, then the best way to get to Bansko from the airport is an individual car transfer. The driver will meet you at the airport and comfortably take you to the hotel or apartments in Bansko, Razlog or Pirin Golf.
